Traditional Cuvée by Alpenfire Cider is a traditional cider cuvée that features a classic balance of organically grown traditional and heirloom apples. The cider apples are sourced directly from the cidery's own orchard to provide depth of flavor and a tannic sizzle, while the heirloom varieties are sourced from Lazy J Farm in Port Angeles and Heirloom Orchards in Hood River to contribute acidity and bright flavors. The production process involves a cool fermentation, lengthy maturation, and no filtration, resulting in a complex, well-rounded fine cider with a rich body.
