Ayinger Jahrhundert Bier is a traditional Dortmunder Export style lager originally brewed in 1978 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Ayinger Privatbrauerei. It pours a bright golden color and features a balanced flavor profile that highlights sweet, earthy Bavarian barley malt alongside a spicy and floral hop bitterness from traditional Hallertau hops. The brewing process utilizes a traditional decoction mash and extended cold lagering, resulting in a crisp, clean finish with notes of honey, fresh baked bread, and subtle noble hops.
