Ash Cloud Amber by Barrel Mountain Brewing is an American Amber Ale named after the ash cloud from the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. It features a complex yet dry malt character, brewed with a blend of seven malts including 2-row, Munich, Carapils, Victory, Crystal 60, Crystal 120, and chocolate. This malt profile delivers a well-balanced, smooth beer with just enough sweetness and distinct flavors and aromas of toast, biscuit, coffee, and chocolate. Hopped with Cascade and Centennial, it finishes with a clean, crisp bitterness and an IBU of 35.
