Citrus Hopslam is an Imperial Double IPA that builds upon the classic Hopslam Ale recipe by incorporating real citrus. The brew features a substantial malt base and a touch of honey to provide a balancing sweetness against the intense hop bitterness. It is heavily dry-hopped, prominently featuring Simcoe hops alongside other Pacific Northwest varieties, which impart signature piney and floral characteristics. The addition of citrus enhances the aromatic profile, delivering bright, juicy notes of grapefruit, orange, and lemon that complement the resinous hop flavors.
