Expedition Stout (2012) by Bell's Brewery is a vintage edition of their classic Russian Imperial Stout, widely recognized as one of the earliest examples of the style brewed in the United States. Crafted specifically with long-term aging in mind, the beer features a massive, complex malt body that delivers a heady blend of chocolate, dark fruit, and deep roasted aromas. While intentionally brewed to be intensely bitter in its early months, the extended cellaring of this 2012 vintage allows its strong flavors to slowly meld, mature, and grow in rich depth over the years.
