Expedition Stout by Bell's Brewery is one of the earliest examples of a Russian Imperial Stout brewed in the United States. Crafted specifically for vintage aging, this robust beer features a massive malt body designed to allow its immensely complex flavors to develop and mature over time. It is brewed with an extensive grain bill that includes two-row malt, black malt, roasted barley, chocolate malt, flaked barley, and Caramunich malt, which is balanced by Centennial hops. The resulting flavor profile delivers rich notes of dark chocolate, dark fruit, and intensely roasted malts. Over time in the cellar, its raw and intense early characteristics blend into a smooth and refined stout.
