Dripping Earth by Bizarre Brewing is an American pale ale brewed with locally foraged fir tips and young fir branches. The beer is built on a base of German pilsner malt, English pale malt, and flaked oats, and is hopped in the kettle with Centennial, McKenzie, and Simcoe. Freshly picked fir tips and branches are steeped into the brew before it is cooled and fermented with a house Kolsch strain. It is then dry-hopped with Mosaic, McKenzie, and Chinook LupoMAX, creating a light pale ale with a resinous nose, citrus crispness, and subtle berry notes.
