Cellar Key is a Belgian Strong Dark Ale from Boulevard Brewing Co. that represents a decades-long tradition of blending fine ales rested in highly sought-after barrels. To create this deep, dark, rich, and refined vintage, master blenders selected exceptional components from a barrel library of over 5000 casks. The meticulously crafted cellar selection consists of 44% Whiskey Barrel Stout aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels, 12% Imperial Rye Ale aged in rare Kentucky barrels, 10% double barrel-aged sweet stout in rum barrels, 10% wheated stout aged in 12-year Kentucky bourbon barrels, 10% triple mashed stout aged in 8-year Missouri bourbon barrels, 7% double barrel-aged Eisbock in American rum barrels, and 7% Whiskey Barrel Stout aged in 18-year Kentucky bourbon barrels.
