Fresh Hop - Fresh Digs WCIPA is a West Coast IPA brewed by Brothers Cascadia Brewing in collaboration with Spokane's Lumberbeard Brewing. The brewing process begins on the hot side with an addition of Simcoe T-90 pellets and Simcoe CO2 extract, alongside a complex Mosaic profile utilizing Mosaic T-90 pellets, Mosaic Cryo, and Mosaic DynaBoost. For the dry hop, the brewers utilized fresh Luminosa hops sourced from Coleman Farms. These fresh hops were added on the cold side using a unique shatter method inspired by Breakside Brewery, where the fresh cones are flash-frozen with liquid nitrogen and crushed prior to addition to maximize their aromatic impact.
