Tripel Karmeliet
Brouwerij Bosteels · Belgian Tripel · 8.4% ABV
Tripel Karmeliet by Brouwerij Bosteels is a classic Belgian Tripel brewed according to an authentic 1679 recipe derived from the old Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde. The defining characteristic of its brewing process is the use of a three-grain blend consisting of barley, wheat, and oats, which are incorporated in both their raw and malted forms. It is brewed with Styrian Golding hops and features a proprietary Belgian yeast strain before undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle. This combination produces a highly aromatic and complex flavor profile characterized by notes of vanilla, banana, lemon citrus, and subtle earthy spices.
