Helicopter, Helicopter

Burke-Gilman Brewing Company · IPA - Black / Cascadian Dark Ale · 7.1% ABV

Helicopter, Helicopter is a Cascadian Dark Ale brewed by Burke-Gilman Brewing Company. Also known as a Black IPA, this style combines the dark, roasted malt backbone of a porter or stout with the pronounced hop profile of an India Pale Ale. The beer pours a deep, near-black color and delivers a complex flavor profile that balances notes of dark chocolate and light roasted malts with bright, piney, resinous, and citrusy hop characteristics. It finishes crisp and hop-forward, highlighting the traditional Pacific Northwest interpretation of the style.
