Valley Mélange is a wild ale brewed by ColdFire Brewing that features a sophisticated blend of three distinct barrel-aged beers. The base combines an oak-fermented blonde ale named Ella aged in white wine barrels, an oak-fermented amber ale aged in sparkling wine barrels, and a Pinot barrel-aged saison. This blend is then re-fermented on top of fresh raspberries, marionberries, and Triple Crown berries sourced from Boones Ferry Berry Farm. The resulting ale evolves through layers of complexity into a refined tasting experience that distinctively showcases the oak barrel characteristics, the fresh fruit, and the brewery's house cultures.
