Delirium Noël / Christmas
Delirium - Huyghe Brewery · Winter Ale · 10.0% ABV
Delirium Noël, also known as Delirium Christmas, is a winter ale brewed by Delirium - Huyghe Brewery specifically for the Christmas and New Year season to complete the brewery's Delirium trilogy. The beer pours a chestnut amber with warm copper to red hues, capped by a fine, white, creamy, and wall-adhesive foam. Its aroma presents a complex blend of caramel malt, fruitiness, spiciness, and sweet alcohol. On the palate, it hides its subtlety behind multiple levels of flavor, offering a prominent alcohol presence, strong spiciness, and a sweet touch typical of a holiday ale, all balanced by a slight bitterness. The experience concludes with a lingering sweet, spicy, and slightly bitter aftertaste.
