Deschutes Imperial Porter XXXIII, also known as Black Butte XXXIII, is a bourbon barrel-aged imperial porter brewed to celebrate the brewery's 33rd anniversary. This special release takes the classic roasted malt and dark chocolate profile of their flagship porter and enhances it by aging the beer in oak bourbon barrels. The recipe incorporates maple syrup, cocoa nibs, and vanilla beans, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile with prominent notes of dark chocolate, sweet maple, bourbon, oak, and roasted coffee.
