Oak & Apple by Finnriver Farm & Cidery is a traditional semi-dry cider crafted to tame the remarkable acidity of organic, Washington-grown apples. The blend features Belle de Boskoop, Karmijn de Sonnaville, Ashmead's Kernel, and Harrison apple varieties. To round out the sharp, acidic profiles, the cider is aged in local whiskey barrels from Ferndale, Washington. During the aging process, toasted oak staves are added to further emphasize the wood character. This process creates a cider with a bright citrus foundation layered with smooth whiskey depth, woody astringency, and a finish featuring lovely toasted oak and vanilla notes.
