Nigiri is a West Coast Pale Ale brewed by Fort George Brewery in collaboration with West Coast Brewing from Shizuoka, Japan, for the Fuji to Hood Beer Festival in Portland. This cultural cross-pollination project features a malt bill of Rahr Pils, Crisp torrified rice, Linc white wheat, and Weyermann acidulated malt. The hop profile is built with Comet and Segal Ramosa hops, alongside Waimea, Simcoe CO2 extract, and Anchovy hop extract. Together, these ingredients create a pineapple and ripe citrus-forward pale ale with a subtle hint of watermelon.
