Founders KBS 2017 is a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates. Following the initial brewing process, the stout is cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to develop deep, complex flavors. This extended aging imparts rich bourbon undertones alongside prominent tasting notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and charred oak. The result is a full-bodied, robust dark beer with a highly aromatic profile and a remarkably smooth, warming finish.
