Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Star: Spice Wars is an Imperial Oatmeal Stout aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels and infused with a blend of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and cloves. The base beer is brewed with 2-Row Pale, Roast Barley, Crystal-120, Chocolate, and Carafa-2 malts alongside flaked oats, and hopped with Magnum, Willamette, and Cascade. This brewing process creates a rich, dark, and roasted malt profile with prominent bourbon and oak characteristics, complemented by the warming, aromatic winter spices.
