The Twisted Branch Out by Garden Path Fermentation is a rustic interpretation of an American IPA fermented with native yeast and conditioned with honey. The native yeast fermentation produces a bone-dry, highly attenuated finish with a light funk and earthy spice. It features a grainy, toasted malt backbone that supports a hop-forward profile of grapefruit, orange zest, resinous pine, and tropical fruit. The addition of honey provides a delicate floral complexity rather than sweetness, resulting in a crisp, well-balanced beer with a firm bitterness.
