Basket Case

Georgetown Brewing Company · Lager - Dark · 6.9% ABV

Basket Case by Georgetown Brewing Company is a Dark Lager brewed in collaboration with the Skyway Coalition, named in honor of the former Basket Case Drive-In Burgers. The recipe features Bavarian Lager yeast, Sterling and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, and a diverse malt bill consisting of Pilsner, Munich, Red X, Pale Chocolate, Blackprinz, Smoked Malt, Melanoidin, and Flaked Rye. This yields a super bright beer that is slightly toasty, smokey, and malty, rounded out by a tight sweetness on the finish. All proceeds from the beer benefit the Skyway Coalition.
