The beer is a variation of the brewery's traditional Pilsner recipe, specifically utilizing Willamette hops for its flavor and aroma profile. As one of the original hop varieties developed by Oregon State University and historically the most widely grown hop in the state, the use of Willamette hops pays homage to the agricultural fruitfulness of the Willamette Valley during the harvest season.
