Sugitaru Lager is a collaboration between Heater Allen Brewing and Japan's Heiwa Craft, originally brewed for the Fuji to Hood festival. This Japanese rice lager incorporates Yoshino Sugi, or Japanese cedar, into the brewing process. The use of the cedar imparts distinct woody and aromatic notes that complement the crisp, dry, and refreshing base of the rice lager.
