This style combines a dark, lightly roasted malt backbone with the vibrant, resinous characteristics of freshly harvested, unkilned hops. Brewed during the annual hop harvest, the wet hops are added shortly after being picked to impart exceptionally bright, green, and floral aromatic notes. The resulting ale balances its deep color and subtle hints of dark chocolate and roasted grain with a pronounced, fresh hop aroma and crisp bitterness.
