Obstinate Intentions is a Belgian Pale Ale brewed by Ladd & Lass Brewing as an homage to Brasserie de la Senne's bracingly dry and hop-forward flagship, Taras Boulba. Inspired by the brewer's trip to Belgium, this beer is built on a malt foundation of Extra Pale Premium Pilsner, Pale Wheat, Pilsner, and Extra Pale White Wheat. It features a robust hopping of classic Continental varieties, brewed with Saphir and Czech Saaz hops. The resulting profile delivers an assertive bitterness and an herbaceous, floral hop bouquet that is lovingly layered upon a complex Belgian yeast character.
