The Pale Project

The Pale Project is an American Pale Ale crafted by Ladd & Lass Brewing as a collaboration between three homebrew-loving friends: Shawn Miller, Tony Ochsner of Micro Homebrew, and brewer Nick Ladd. The ongoing project seeks to find a happy balance between traditional early 2000s pale ales and contemporary, hop-forward iterations. This modern take features a carefully selected hop profile that includes Mosaic, Simcoe, and Comet sourced from Crosby Estate, finished with a dry hop addition of Cryo Citra. The beer is brewed in honor of Shawn Miller, the brewery's biggest supporter, to convey his passion for the craft of beer. A portion of the proceeds from sales is donated to the Cascadia College Foundation to help fund the Shawn Miller Memorial Scholarship for First Generation Students.
