Stinging Nettle Ale by Machine House Brewery is a seasonal springtime Amber Ale brewed with fresh stinging nettles hand-picked by the brewers on Vashon Island. The nettles are added directly to the malty wort in the brew kettle, acting as a traditional bittering agent, while the heat of the brewing process safely removes their natural sting. This unique addition imparts an earthy, spicy, and herbaceous character to the beer, resulting in a deliciously balanced profile with 24 IBU.
