Ground Control 2017 is a limited-edition Hazelnut Imperial Stout brewed by Ninkasi Brewing Company in Eugene, Oregon. This stout is crafted with Oregon hazelnuts, star anise, cocoa nibs, and a unique ale yeast strain that was sent to outer space and back via the Ninkasi Space Program. The 2017 release features a special blend of fresh Ground Control and a version aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels. It was packaged in 22-ounce bottles adorned with artwork by Neal Williams.
