Vanilla Abraxas (2025) by Perennial Artisan Ales is a rich and decadent Imperial Stout that builds upon the brewery's flagship Abraxas recipe. It is brewed with a complex blend of ancho chili peppers, cacao nibs, cinnamon sticks, and an extra addition of vanilla beans. Pouring a deep, opaque black with a dense tan head, this stout offers aromatic notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and fragrant vanilla. On the palate, the sweet and smooth vanilla perfectly balances the subtle heat of the ancho chiles and the spice of the cinnamon. The result is a full-bodied mouthfeel with a warming finish and a delicious lingering roastiness.
