Brewed to celebrate pFriem Family Brewers' 14th anniversary, 14th Anniversary To Thee Lager is a Munich-style Helles lager crafted in strict accordance with the historic German Purity Law. The recipe utilizes heirloom Rahr To Thee Pilsner malt and employs a traditional decoction mash to caramelize natural sugars directly in the brewhouse, creating a deeply complex and bready malt structure. It is brewed with premium German noble hops, including Perle, Select, Tettnang, and Saphir, which provide subtle floral aromas and a clean, gentle bitterness of 15 IBU. A house-propagated lactic culture introduces a vibrant, tangy acidity that harmonizes with the rich grain backbone. Pouring a brilliant golden straw with a fluffy white foam, this lager offers delicate aromas of freshly cut wildflower, rich honeycomb, and classic lager sulfur. On the palate, notes of sourdough bread and biscuit are accompanied by soft citrus, lavender, and white tea, leading to a crisp, dry, and effortlessly drinkable finish.
