Barrel Aged Saison VI by pFriem Family Brewers is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale aged in French oak barrels. The beer is brewed with a malt bill of pilsner and wheat and fermented with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria to develop a complex, rustic profile. It features aromas of lemon zest, white pepper, and earthy funk, followed by flavors of tart pineapple, white grape, and subtle oak. The finish is dry, crisp, and slightly tart.
