pFriem Family Brewers IPA is an American India Pale Ale that pours a light copper color with an off-white foam. The malt bill consists of Rahr Pale Malt, Simpsons Caramalt, Simpsons Crystal Light, and Simpsons Crystal Dark, which provide a light candy maltiness. It is brewed with Chinook, Mosaic, and Citra hops, and fermented with an American Ale yeast. This combination yields dank aromas of peach, citrus, papaya, and blueberry. On the palate, it delivers bright flavors of lychee fruit and grapefruit, finishing fresh, hoppy, and piney with a touch of grapefruit rind. The beer has a bitterness of 65 IBU.
