Timbo Pils is a West Coast-style pilsner from Pinthouse Brewing, brewed as a clone using the same recipe as Highland Park Brewery. It is brewed with modern American hops, specifically hand-selected lots of Citra and Mosaic, which greatly influence the flavor profile. The beer is as cleanly bitter, dry, and quaffable as a traditional German pilsner, delivering delicately dank notes of zested citrus, Riesling grapes, and gooseberry. These hop characteristics carefully complement a sourdough and honey-like pilsner malt profile, resulting in a supremely snappy and lively lager.
