BBIS (2026 Edition) is a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout brewed by Reuben's Brews. This oat-forward beer utilizes a British specialty malt recipe that hails from the original version brewed in 2013, featuring C-60, Cara Munich, Chocolate, Crisp Pale Chocolate, ESB, Pale, and Roast Barley malts alongside Magnum hops. New techniques were introduced to this vintage to create a bigger, richer, and silkier profile. The stout is aged in 10 to 12 year old bourbon barrels, with the majority of the blend aging for about one year and a portion of two year aged BBIS added for extra layers of complexity.
