Roggenbier by Reuben's Brews is a historic German-style ale that is similar to a Dunkelweizen but brewed with rye instead of wheat. As one of the original five beers served on the brewery's opening day, it established rye as a foundational ingredient for their brewing portfolio. Fermented with a traditional weizen yeast strain, the ale delivers classic aromas of banana and clove, complemented by a light nuttiness. This medium-bodied beer features a chocolatey character from its specialty malts and concludes with a distinctively spicy rye note in the finish.
