The brewing process features the addition of Rakau SubZero hop Kief to the brite tank, which imparts a distinct southern-hemisphere punch to the flavor profile. The beer is named in honor of the Shearwater birds that migrate between New Zealand and Washington State, a nod to the origins of the hops used in the brew.
