Bishop's Barrel No. 25 is a Baltic Porter aged in Tawny Port barrels. The base beer is brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Carafa III, and Chocolate malts, and hopped with Bravo and Hallertau Mittelfruh. Fermented with a house lager yeast, the beer undergoes aging in the port barrels to develop a complex flavor profile. The resulting brew features prominent notes of chocolate and roasted malts from the base beer, complemented by rich dark fruit, oak, and a subtle sweetness imparted by the Tawny Port barrels.
