The original base beer is brewed with a malt profile of 2-row, Maris Otter, Biscuit, and Double Roasted Crystal, paired with HBC-682, Cascade, Amarillo, and Citra hops. Uniquely for its style, the beer is fermented with Kolsch yeast, yielding a robust yet well-rounded brew that balances its deeply malty foundation with the smooth, woody finish from the barrel aging process.
