Aventinus (Tap06)
Schneider Weisse G. Schneider & Sohn · Bock - Weizendoppelbock · 8.2% ABV
Schneider Weisse Aventinus TAP06 is a traditional German Weizenbock and is known as the oldest wheat doppelbock in Bavaria. It is brewed with a blend of wheat and barley malts alongside Hallertauer Tradition and Magnum hops. The brewing process utilizes classic open vat fermentation followed by bottle conditioning, resulting in an unfiltered and unpasteurized beer. Pouring a deep ruby-dark color with a creamy head, it delivers a rich, malty, and complex flavor profile featuring prominent notes of ripe bananas, raisins, plums, figs, dark chocolate, and a hint of roasted clove.
