Lavender Honey by Tieton Cider Works is a semi-sweet cider crafted with fermented apples grown on their third-generation farms in the Yakima Valley, whole lavender buds, and locally sourced wildflower honey. During the cider-making process, whole lavender buds are steeped in cider made from freshly pressed apples, followed by the slow addition of wildflower honey as the liquid is gently circulated in the tank. Fresh juice is sometimes added to balance the crisp acidity. This cider delivers a crisp apple flavor on the front, rich honey notes on the palate, and finishes with a delicate hint of springtime lavender.
