Fresh Hop Zoigl-Kölsch is a German-style ale brewed by Zoiglhaus Brewing Company. Brewed just like in Cologne with all-German ingredients, it is fermented slow and cool using an authentic Kölsch yeast strain brought back from brewer and owner Alan Taylor’s studies in Germany. This variation of their base beer is brewed with 75 pounds of fresh, local Tettnanger hops added in the whirlpool. The result is a crisp, lightly fruity, and sessionable Kölsch with a bitterness of 20 IBU.
